Terms of service

These terms form the agreement between you and The Official IQ Test, a tradename of The Sales Factory B.V., a Dutch company based in Heemstede, Netherlands, covering our website and services, which this page calls the service. Opening an account or taking a test means you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

The Official IQ Test is an online platform for measuring and training cognitive ability. It comprises:

• IQ and cognitive assessments
• Brain-training exercises and challenges
• Personality and well-being assessments
• Digital certificates and personalised reports
• Progress tracking across your results

The service is offered as it stands, and we may add, change, or withdraw features as the product develops.

Some features require an account. Give accurate details when you create one and keep them current. Your login is yours to protect, and you are responsible for activity under it, so tell us promptly if you suspect someone else has access. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

Trial. A new membership begins with a 5-day trial costing $1.99 USD, which opens every premium feature.

Renewal. At the end of the trial the subscription continues at $19.99 USD a month until you cancel it.

Payment. Stripe processes every payment securely. You authorise us to charge the method you choose for the subscription.

Cancellation. Cancel whenever you like. Cancelling during the trial means the monthly charge never begins. Cancelling later ends the subscription at the close of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Non-refundable trial. The trial charge is not refundable, except where the law provides otherwise.

5.1 If a recurring payment for the subscription is declined, we may attempt to collect it again during a period of up to 30 days. During this period your access to the service continues.

5.2 If the payment remains unsuccessful after that period, we may continue the subscription at a reduced monthly fee and charge that fee to the payment method on file. A reduction of the fee does not create a new agreement. The subscription, including these terms, continues to apply.

5.3 We may apply a reduction under clause 5.2 more than once. After a reduced fee is successfully charged, that fee applies to each following period until the subscription ends.

5.4 We may end the subscription with immediate effect, and your access to the paid features of the service will end, if:

5.5 Any amount that remains unpaid for a past period stays due, and you may pay it at any time.

5.6 Nothing in this section limits your right to cancel the subscription under section 4.

Use the service lawfully and within these terms. In particular, you must not:

• attack, probe, or disrupt our systems
• use the service to send harmful, abusive, or harassing material
• impersonate another person or post deliberately misleading content
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code
• sell, lend, or transfer your account to anyone else
• scrape, automate, or otherwise harvest data at scale
• interfere with the way the service runs for other people

The text, graphics, tests, exercises, scoring methods, and software behind the service belong to The Sales Factory B.V. or to the partners who license them to us. You may not copy, redistribute, or alter them without our written permission, and never for commercial purposes.

Trademarks. Mensa, Stanford-Binet, WAIS, MoCA, and CHC are the trademarks or intellectual property of their respective owners. The Official IQ Test is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. We name these frameworks only to describe the psychometric traditions our tests draw on.

The Official IQ Test is built for insight and curiosity, not for diagnosis. Your results describe how you performed inside our assessments. They are not a medical or psychological evaluation and cannot stand in for one from a licensed professional. Scores also move with rest, focus, and the conditions of the day, so treat any single result as one honest snapshot rather than a verdict.

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Sales Factory B.V. and The Official IQ Test are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the service, including lost profit, lost revenue, or lost data. Where we are found liable, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

We also cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of error, and we are not responsible for outages caused by maintenance, technical faults, or events outside our control.

Dutch law governs these terms, The Sales Factory B.V. being established in the Netherlands, and any dispute goes to the competent Dutch courts.

These terms may be updated as the service develops. The current version always sits on this page and takes effect once posted. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the update.
